Nokia Market Share Plunges here comes Android

No real surprise that Nokia’s market share in Australia has plummeted, going from 49.5 per cent 1st qtr last year to 24.6 per cent 1st qtr this year.

The Symbian OS was left behind years ago and the iPhone and Android smart phones have taken the world by storm. It is a fast moving world in technology and Nokia are moving way too slow, amazing how things change. I used to have Nokia phones but would not dream of it now, i have droid myself and it is fantastic. We have 3 horse race now, Apple, Google & Windows makes for interesting times. I will say i think Google’s got the engineers and the cash so bring it on, we the consumers are the winners.
